Lilstone have made an excellent start on site with the site establishment and welfare units now place.
The hoarding is in place to reduce any inconvenience to residents, and the site Forman Duncan Wilson is on site for any contact residents may require.
Works are progressing well in the basement with the completion of the preliminary surveys, the erection of the internal scaffolding deck and removal of the controlled material, which is all now complete.
Erection of the external scaffold tower to the rear elevation has commenced today. Only trained operatives are permitted to use scaffolding. Lilstone, therefore ask that under no circumstance do you access the scaffolding and please take time to discuss the dangers of scaffolding with your children. Please be duly careful when opening your windows. We expect the scaffolding to be in place until the end of June 2025 as it is required to facilitate the project works on the roof.
To complete the mechanical works, it will be necessary to shut off the heating supplies to your property towards the end of March until the air cooling is activated in the summer. Electric heaters will be available with the porters if residents require them in this intervening period.
For the avoidance of doubt, we confirm that the new chillers and AHU are expected to be commissioned and operational the end of May/start of June, so residents will have air conditioning during the summer months (albeit through their current weather master units).
In addition, to transport the new plant to the roof, there will be a requirement of a road closure on Cumberland Place. We will advise the exact dates of these nearer the time.
We would like to thank you in advance for your continued support, patience and understanding and should you have any queries please either contact RMD Properties or visit the Lilstone site team who can help with any queries or concerns you may have.
