Overview
The 2025 AGM (for the accounting year ending 31st December 2024) took place at Bilton Towers on 15th September 2025.
The 2024 accounts closed with a small surplus of £ 58,134, due to lower energy and maintenance costs compared to previous years. This lower cost level is expected to continue in 2026 as we are now benefiting from more favourable contracts on gas and electricity and also lower repair costs as we gradually replace old equipment with new.
Phase 1 of our heating/cooling refurbishment project is now complete. Much of the discussion during the AGM focused on the need for improved governance, monitoring of costs and communication to lessees and other residents. Prior to proceeding with the next phase of the project, an independent surveyor will be tasked with verifying cost estimates of the remaining works, validating the approach and plan or recommending changes that can reduce the costs, shorten the timeline or improve performance.
Once the surveyor’s recommendations are received, the agreed workplan will be the subject of a formal tendering process in early 2026.
Regular updates will be posted on this website to keep everyone informed of the next steps.
